Shape Push

Pushing shapes around again. Here's a variety of different styles. It really depends on which way I feel like drawing at the time I do them. I much prefer to see an energetic ruff than a polished drawing. In a way that frees you up to explore and push shapes around. You can always go back in and tighten everything up, but most time I just leave it alone.

Nice! Really great poses in the first set of drawings!

You scuttled my pre-prepared comment.
I was going to say something about how posting links to other peoples images is no excuse for not posting any of your own.
Then you post like, what, is it 5 in a row?
It would have been hilarious.

Further to that, I couldn't agree with you more regarding rough drawings.
Even finished rough drawings (like Bill Peet) have so much more life do they not.
I'm not sure if this has come up before...
There's a trend at the moment to slave over polished shiny images and I do not enjoy it at all.

Very nice sets of drawings!! Love your sense of movement, and the fun animated quality in them.

Thanks Josh, fun to do.

Hahaha Elliot. Too bad. That would have been funny. Prepare for more multi posts. I knew you'd be thinking along the same lines about the ruffs.

Cheers Alina. Glad you like them
